OUR MISSION
The mission, vision, and beliefs of Palos 118 focus on providing the best education possible for children. The Board of Education annually develops goals and action targets designed to accomplish the mission. There are three major goals.
Our Mission: Palos Community Consolidated School District 118 is a fiscally responsible school community that engages all students to become confident, adaptive and productive life-long learners.

This is the 18th consecutive year that District 118 has received the award for sound fiscal management.

Palos West students have particpated in the event for over 20 years.

This is the Cardinals second first-place finish of the season. The team heads to the State competition on February 11.
Palos South Cardinal Cheer took the top spot at the 2026 Middle School Matchup in January.

Both teams topped the post-season tournament with the eighth Cardinals tying for first place in the SWIC Conference.

As part of their community service project this year, the Palos East Student Council assembled treat bags for Ronald McDonald House in Oaklawn.
